Former Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel chimes in on ’12th Man’ debate

Former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel took a cue from the Texas A&M Twitter feed on Sunday and decided to chime in on the original “12th Man.”

A&M’s football Twitter feed spent the better part of Sunday explaining to its followers the origin of its “12th Man” slogan and more or less trolling the Seattle Seahawks, which also use the term to refer to their home field advantage.

Of course, Manziel took the side of his alma mater.

Apparently, Manziel is pretty certain the Seahawks won’t be drafting him.

The Seattle Seahawks received a lot of press in the past couple weeks because of its “12th Man” slogan in response to having the greatest home field advantage in the NFL.

And even though the Seahawks pay Texas A&M $5,000 a year to use the term, there still seems to be some bitter feelings about all the attention Seattle is receiving for the term.
