Baylor is going all ‘Bear Dynasty’ for its game against Louisiana-Monroe (Photo)

Have you ever wondered what Robert Griffin III would look like with a long beard a la 'Duck Dynasty?' Wonder no more.

Louisiana-Monroe visits Waco Saturday, and Monroe is the home base of the cast of Duck Dynasty, the wildly popular reality show on A&E. Last year, when Monroe visited Baylor in an entertaining Friday night showdown, Willie Robertson was on the sidelines. And Duck Dynasty will be back this year.

For the return visit, Baylor has put together a 'Bear Dynasty' promotional picture with Griffin, coach Art Briles, last year's quarterback (and Griffin successor) Nick Florence and current quarterback Bryce Petty all with Duck Dynasty inspired beards. Its as goofy as you would expect. (Poor Petty, he's aged 30 years.)

Given that NHL teams have made playoff beards a habit -- and that beards are apparently a thing now -- there should be a mass effort from a college football team (or even better, coaching staff) with national title aspirations to start the season clean shaven and not shave until the first loss. Yeah, if you're Mark Richt and Georgia, you'd be babyfaced all season, but you know there have been a lot of Alabama fans out there who have wondered how Nick Saban would look with a beard.

And now that we know how Briles looks with one, Doc Sat is completely behind him if he wants to be the first to try.
