Arizona State coach Todd Graham bought the home of Poison lead singer Bret Michaels

When Todd Graham took the head coaching job at Arizona State in late 2011, it was the fourth head coaching gig he had accepted since 2006. He had rather unceremonious exits from Rice and Pittsburgh, the latter of which he informed his team that he was leaving via a text message.

Despite his reputation for job-hopping, Graham appears to be establishing roots for a longer tenure in Tempe. The Arizona Republic is reporting that Graham and his wife recently purchased a $2.4 million home in Scottsdale, less than 10 miles from Sun Devil Stadium.

The home was formerly owned by Bret Michaels – reality TV star and the lead singer of the 80’s hair metal band Poison. Seriously.

And no, it is not the house from Rock of Love unfortunately.

We’re not entirely sure if Graham is a Poison fan, though it is funny to envision Graham drawing up a gameplan for a big game while listening to “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” or “Nothin’ but a Good Time.”

Graham has led the Sun Devils to an 18-9 record in his two seasons at the helm, including last season’s Pac-12 South division title. Despite the season ending in disappointing fashion with losses in the Pac-12 title game and the Holiday Bowl, Graham was named Pac-12 Coach of the Year and was given a contract extension through the 2019.
