Air Force is the latest team to go with black alternate uniforms

Air Force has gotten into the alternate uniform kick the past couple years, and has usually unveiled the uniforms for its annual game against Navy in early October.

The uniforms always have some meaning - the Falcons have worn uniforms inspired by the Thunderbird pilots and gray uniforms meant to resemble the color of F-105s. For this year's Navy game Air Force unveiled a slick black uniform (thanks to SaturdayBlitz.com for the screen capture).

The uniforms are black with either "B-2 SPIRIT" or "F-22 RAPTOR" where the last name on the back generally goes. The pattern on the helmet and down the uniform is actually a series of stealth bombers that make up the effect.

These stand out as one of the better alternate uniforms we've seen this season.
