With playoffs fast approaching, the two-time defending MLS champion Galaxy enter Sunday's match coming off an intense draw against the first-place Seattle Sounders. The Timbers, who haven't lost since August, sport the best defense in the Western Conference and are looking for the same kind of success they enjoyed the last time these two teams met. The Timbers topped the Galaxy in July, winning 2-1 in Portland.
