Johanna Long wins Snowball Derby

Johanna Long, who made her debut in the Camping World Truck Series in 2010, won the 43rd Snowball Derby Saturday night at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, FL.

The Snowball Derby is a prestigious late-model race that attracts some of the bigger names in racing. Last year, Kyle Busch won, but while he wasn't in the 2010 field, it still had some big names.

Long, a Pensacola native who's no stranger to Five Flags, beat David Ragan, David Stremme, Chase Elliott -- Bill Elliott's son, Ross Kenseth -- Matt Kenseth's son and Landon Cassill among others in the 300 lap event to become its second female winner. In 1994, Tammy Jo Kirk won.

Long, who turned 18 in May, made seven starts in the Truck Series in 2010, finishing 20th twice.
