Sherk and Maynard most popular UFC 90 picks

UFC 90 is drawing solid interest from players in Las Vegas. Several of the lines have moved significantly with much of the action on the favorites. That may not be the wisest move with the way the last few UFC events have unfolded. Last week at UFC 89 the underdogs were 4-5 and many thought Paul Taylor had pulled the upset on Chris Lytle. That could've made it five wins for the dogs. The heaviest action this week is coming on favorites Sean Sherk and Gray Maynard.

Sherk, the former UFC lightweight champ has moved 60 cents from -160 to -220. I originally picked at Sherk at -160, Griffin may be the way the go with all value on the plus side.

I'm not understanding the massive wave of support for Gray Maynard. The Ultimate Fighter 5-alum has moved from -200 to -270. Rich Clementi is too accomplished and dangerous with his submissions to be completely written off. There has been some solid action on the main event between Anderson Silva and Patrick Cote.

Bettors are jumping on the dog because of the big price. Cote is now catching +400. I don't think there's a side bet worth playing in this fight but you could roll the dice on a round prop. In this scenario, you pick the round that you think the fight will end. Silva is -200 to end it in the first round and -120 in the second.
