German 9-year-old scores goal of the month following incredible Zidane-style turns

During his peak, Zinedine Zidane was known for being the world's most talented soccer player with the ball at his feet. Of all his tricks, none were more eye catching than his trademark double-spins — sometimes called a Zidane Roulette — where he would drag the ball back behind himself as he pivoted around an onrushing defender. The results were always exciting, and often provided the most memorable moments of a game or even a season. You can see a full compilation of Zidane's best Roulettes right here.

By the time Zidane was pulling off these feats, he was in his 20s and taking the soccer world by storm. That's not the case for one 9-year-old German player for 1. FC Köln, who used a double Zidane spin to separate himself from his Bayer Leverkusen opponent and fire home a bullet of a shot for a memorable goal.

So far, the budding starlet has not been identified, though German newspaper Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger did provide more details. The hometown media outlet offered up an explanation of the clip while noting the goal was becoming a viral hit. Prep Rally didn't understand the story itself (we don't speak German), but luckily there are online tools that help clear that up.

Hit it, Google Translate!

Every week there are good goals in Germany's lower leagues. Just as in the youth leagues. Not all of them get the attention they deserve. But this already, and it has a very simple reason: it is simply sensational.

A little boy from the youth of the 1st FC Köln has a superb goal in the match against Bayer Leverkusen for the U9 FC. The sports magazine 11Freunde Commented this video as follows: "Clearly, the 1.FC Cologne rises to 2014, while 2015 is international, is in 2016 or 2017 champions. But what, dear friends, what happens next? What if this boy grows up? If the FC then world champion? "

Also, the first FC Köln posting the video on his Facebook page with the words: "hoe tip — one, two, three. Some great results of our U9 in the derby against Leverkusen."

What if this boy grows up, indeed. We shall all wait and see. Hopefully he has a few more spectacular goals in him, because that was some move and a heck of a shot to boot.
