Zeeland East girls, Zeeland West boys, Holland's Noah Lambers repeat as OK Green champs

MUSKEGON - The Zeeland East girls cross country team put together a dominating performance to claim back-to-back OK Green cross country titles.

The Chix placed six runners in the top 10 in the conference going 1-3-4-6-7-9 to claim the title with 21 points. Zeeland West was second with 48, followed by Mona Shores (91), Reeths-Puffer (92), Holland (132) and Wyoming (185).

Zeeland East junior Emma Drnek won the race with a time of 18:38.90. Allison Kuzma was third (19:48.80), Meredith Cook was fourth (19:58.00), Taryn DiLaura was sixth (20:29.70), CC Kuras was seventh (20:38.80) and Megan Kuzma was ninth (20:53.80).

Zeeland West's Jordyn Klaasen finished second (19:44.80), while teammate Tessa Rindfliesch was eight (20:52.90), Caiti Grant was 11th (21:10.70), Evie Kleinheksel was 13th (21:14.90) and Greta Hondorp was 14th (21:25.40).

Holland's Ambria DePoy finished 12th overall in 21:11.50.

In the boys meet, Holland's Noah Lambers claimed the title for the second year in a row. He finished in 15:59.00.

Zeeland West repeated as conference champions with a score of 36. Reeths-Puffer was second with 60, followed by Zeeland East (77), Holland (84), Mona Shores (122), Grand Rapids Union (139), Wyoming (220) and Muskegon (245).

The Dux were led by Robert Dodd, who finished fourth overall (17:06.50). Keagan Smith was fifth (17:07.10), Jack DeKruyter took eighth (17:21.50), Carson Hauch was ninth (17:35.60), AJ Sneller was 10th (17:37.20). Ethan Dalman was 11th (17:44.10) and Samuel Ashby was 13th (18:05.80).

Zeeland East's Caden Guffey was seventh (17:14.10). Nate Davis was 12th (17:46.40) and Dylan Walters was 15th (18:20.60).

Holland's Harrison Kooyer took 16th in 18:34.30.
