Women's College World Series: Game times, TV schedule, results for NCAA softball

A field of 64 NCAA Division I women’s softball teams was whittled down to eight squads that competed in the 2022 Women’s College World Series. And now it's down to the final two.

Top-ranked Oklahoma (57-3) will take on unseeded Texas (47-20-1) in an all-Big 12 championship series, beginning Wednesday at USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City. Game 2 is Thursday, and if the teams split the first two contests, an if necessary Game 3 will be played Friday to decide this year's champion.

The Sooners and Longhorns have met three times this year in Big 12 play, with Oklahoma winning the first two games before Texas handed the Sooners their first loss of the season on April 15.

The Sooners are seeking their second consecutive NCAA softball championship and their sixth overall, having won in 2000, '13, '16, '17 and '21. The Longhorns reached the final for the first time in school history and will try to win their first championship.
