WNC high school spring sports top performers from Week 6, including a 23-strikeout performance

Here are the Western North Carolina athletes who had a stellar performance this week in spring sports.

Baseball

Deegan Randall, Enka: Randall struck out nine batters while allowing only two hits and four walks while pitching 5 1/3 innings in a 5-1 win vs. Durham Academy.

Garrett Case, Enka: Case went 2-3 with two RBIs.

Micah Simpson, Roberson: Simpson struck out four batters while allowing only two hits and one unearned run in a 7-1 win vs. J.H. Rose.

Friday

Baseball

Wilkin Lurie, Asheville High: Lurie went 2-4 with two home runs and four RBIs in a 9-3 win vs. Princess Anne (Va.)

Jaxon Dillingham, Madison: Dillingham went 3-5 with four RBIs in a 17-6 win vs. Rosman.

Ethan Orr, Robbinsville: Orr went 3-4 with a double and two RBIs in a 6-2 win vs. Andrews. He also struck out 10 batters while allowing three hits, four walks and two runs.

Sage Tanner, Reynolds: Tanner went 1-4 with a double and three RBIs in an 8-6 win vs. Hilton (N.Y.)

Evan Conner, Tuscola: Conner went 2-3 with a double and two RBIs in a 5-2 win vs. Pisgah.

Noah Stepp, Tuscola: Stepp struck out six batters while allowing six hits, two walks and one unearned run in a complete game.

Softball

Macayle Stevens, Brevard: Stevens went 2-3 with a triple and four RBIs in a 12-1 win vs. Hendersonville.

Hailey Griffin, Madison: Griffin went 3-5 with a home run and four RBIs in a 16-1 win vs. Rosman.

Dreylee Webster, Robbinsville: Webster went 2-3 with a double and four RBIs in a 17-0 win vs. Andrews.

Girls Soccer

Caroline Bridges, Asheville School: Bridges recorded a hat trick in a 6-1 win vs. Carolina Day.

Nora Felty, Brevard: Felty scored two goals in a 3-1 win vs. East Henderson.

Baseball

Kellan Rogers, Brevard: Rogers went 2-5 with a double and three RBIs in a 14-6 win vs. East Henderson.

Luke Nesbitt, Reynolds: Nesbitt struck out nine batters while allowing one earned run, six hits and five walks in 5 2/3 innings during a 4-1 win vs. West Florence.

Jones Robinson, Swain County: Robinson struck out five batters while allowing one hit in an 11-0 win vs. Rosman.

Softball

Claire Wilson, Brevard: Wilson went 5-5 with a double, a home run and six RBIs in a 17-1 win vs. East Henderson.

Girls soccer

Gabriella Rosas, Smoky Mountain: Rosas scored a hat trick in a 6-0 win vs. Blue Ridge Early College.

Jackson Sellers, Hayesville: Sellers went 3-3 with a double and four RBIs in a 12-10 win vs. Swain County.

Brady Nix, East Henderson: Nix went 2-4 with a double and two RBIs in a 6-3 win vs. Madison.

Jude Lyda, West Henderson: Lyda went 3-4 with a double, triple, a home run and seven RBIs in a 15-3 win vs. Hendersonville.

Girls soccer

Nora Felty, Brevard: Felty scored two goals and two assists in a 9-0 win vs. Swain County.

Emma Clancy, Tuscola: Clancy scored two goals in a 5-0 win vs. Tuscola.

Gracie Rinker, Tuscola: Rinker scored two goals and added an assist.

Marianne Maxon, West Henderson: Maxon scored four goals and added an assist in a 9-0 win vs. Smoky Mountain.

Davis Franklin, North Buncombe: Franklin went 2-3 with a double and two RBIs in a 7-3 win vs. East Henderson.

Mason Gasperson, North Henderson: Gasperson went 2-5 with two doubles and three RBIs in a 9-2 win vs. Enka.

Peyton Maybin, North Henderson: Maybin struck out eight while conceding only two runs and four hits.

Ethan Orr, Robbinsville: Orr went 1-3 with a home run and two RBIs in a 9-1 win vs. Andrews.

JT Smith, Roberson: Smith went 2-4 with a double and four RBIs in an 11-3 win vs. South Brunswick.

Grady Lewis, Swain County: Lewis went 1-3 with a home run and two RBIs in a 7-4 win vs. Carolina Day.

Claire Wilson, Brevard: Wilson went 4-5 with a home run and four RBIs in an 11-1 win vs. Hendersonville.

Lilly Hoxit, Brevard: Hoxit went 1-3 with a home run and four RBIs.

Jayden Moore, Pisgah: Moore went 4-4 with a home run and five RBIs in a 16-0 win vs. North Henderson.

Julia Dockery, Murphy: Dockery went 4-5 with a triple and three RBIs in a 4-0 win vs. Hiwassee Dam.

Paisley Johnson, Murphy: Johnson struck out 23 batters while allowing only three hits and two walks in a 10-inning shutout.

Dreylee Webster, Robbinsville: Webster went 1-1 with a double and three RBIs in a 15-0 win vs. Andrews.

Mya Burrows-Kurr, Swain County: Burrows-Kurr scored seven goals in a 7-0 win vs. Blue Ridge Ealy College.

Paisley Johnson, Murphy: Johnson struck out 14 batters while allowing only two hits in a 2-0 win vs. Cooper Basin (Tenn.).

Sydney Adams, Robbinsville: Adams went 1-2 with a double and two RBIs in a 5-3 win vs. Tuscola.

Carley Teesateskie, Swain County: Teesateskie went 2-3 with a home run and three RBIs in an 11-1 win vs. Hayesville.

Kennedy Anthony, Swain County: Anthony went 2-3 with a home run and three RBIs.
