Winning teams and individuals from Saturday's Kentucky high school cross country regionals

Trinity High School junior Eli Oetken and Assumption senior Reagan Gilmore won titles Saturday at the Class 3A, Region Four cross country meet at Seneca Park.

Oetken won the boys race with a time of 15 minutes, 7.58 seconds. North Oldham junior Charley Townsend was second in 15:18.75.

Gilmore won the girls race with a time of 17:24.40. Oldham County senior Tula Fawbush was second in 17:34.84.

Trinity won the boys team title with 35 points and was followed by North Oldham (59) and Eastern (82).

Assumption took the girls team title with 23 points and was followed by Oldham County (54) and North Oldham (97).

Top teams and individuals advance to the Class 3A state meet Saturday at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.

Class 3A, Region Three

Manual sophomore Bailee Montgomery and Male junior Caden Cull won championships at the Class 3A, Region Three cross country meet at Seneca Park.

Montgomery won the girls race in 17:53.75. Bullitt East eighth-grader Caroline Mooney was second in 18:08.43.

Cull won the boys race in 15:32.83 and was followed by St. Xavier junior Thomas Weber in 15:47.88.

Manual took the girls team title with 24 points and was followed by Bullitt East (50) and Male (59).

St. X won the boys team title with 30 points and was followed by Manual (57) and Male (69).

Class 2A, Region Three

Spencer County junior Casey DeSilvey and Christian Academy sophomore Anabelle Plummer won championships at Saturday’s Class 2A, Region Three cross country meet at Seneca Park.

DeSilvey won the boys race with a time of 15:51.82. CAL junior Samuel Herbig was the runner-up in 15:55.29.

Plummer won the girls race in 19:30.15. Jeffersontown seventh-grader Emily Beard was second in 21:27.71.

Shelby County captured the boys team title with 33 points and was followed by Christian Academy (66) and Henry County (67).

CAL was the girls team champion with 23 points and was followed by Shelby County (46) and Spencer County (61).

Class A, Region Three

Collegiate’s Mary Thomas Kute and Roman Sierpina swept the titles at Saturday’s Class A, Region Three cross country meet at Seneca Park.

Kute, a freshman, won the girls race with a time of 20:02.09. Collegiate freshman Margaret Dulaney was second in 20:37.91.

Sierpina, a junior, won the boys race in 15:45.76. Highlands Latin sophomore Luke Hamilton finished second in 16:26.62.

Collegiate won the girls team title with 21 points and was followed by Brown (46) and Highlands Latin (76).

Highlands Latin captured the boys team title with 34 points and was followed by Collegiate (53) and Kentucky Country Day (70).
