Schouller won the online poll by collecting more than 31 percent of the voting, with a total of 155. Dover football player Bryce Carberry was second with 118.

St. Thomas Aquinas soccer player Angus Forman (102), Portsmouth/Oyster River football player Aidan Thomas (77) and Oyster River soccer player Torin Saunders (42) placed third through fifth, respectively.

Schouller shot a medalist round of even-par-36 as the Warriors swept a four-team match at Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club last Thursday. Winnacunnet had a total of 197, followed by Bow's 216, Timberlane's 218 and Kingswood's 258. On Tuesday, Schouller carded a medalist round of 1-under par 35 in the Warriors' second-place finish.

"Jimmy has had a solid start to the season along with the rest of the team; really could have been anyone of my top three kids for that award," Winnacunnet head coach Patrick Snow said. "Jimmy has stood out with his consistency. He has been the low medalist in all four matches this year. I look forward to seeing what he can do the remainder of the season. He's averaging under-par scores right now in practice and matches; pretty impressive."

Winnacunnet field hockey player Hayden Adams (57), Somersworth volleyball player Aby Lambert (39) and York cross country athlete Cary Drake placed third through fifth, respectively.

Burrus had two goals and three assists in a 9-0 win over Inter-Lakes last Friday. Previously, Burrus scored the lone goal in the game as the Saints defeated Gilford, 1-0.

"Kate has had an outstanding start to the season," St. Thomas Aquinas head coach Patrick Hureau said. "She's already made some key plays for us in crucial moments. Her speed and shot-making ability from distance keeps the opposition on their toes. I appreciate Kate's leadership and everything she does for our program."
