Who's in, who's out? See the 2023 FHSAA volleyball playoff bracket for Northeast Florida
The fight for the state finals is on.
The Florida High School Athletic Association announced its bracket for the 2023 girls volleyball playoffs Saturday, set to begin Tuesday night, on the road to next month's state championships in Winter Haven.
Traditional powers Bishop Kenny and Ponte Vedra qualified comfortably, with more than a dozen Northeast Florida teams in the field. Bishop Kenny (Class 4A), Middleburg (Class 5A) and Trinity Christian (Class 3A) received the No. 1 seeds in their respective regions.

The bubble stories were many, and on the right side of the bubble was Gateway Conference runner-up Fletcher. Fletcher made it into the Region 1-6A playoffs despite their semifinal exit in District 3-6A, making the trip to Navarre for the Wednesday regionals.
Wolfson also ended its nine-year playoff drought, squeezing into Region 1-4A by a half-point margin ahead of Pensacola.
But not so fortunate was Fleming Island, which missed out despite advancing to the final in District 3-6A and beating Fletcher along the way. The Golden Eagles finished three-quarters of a point behind Lynn Haven Mosley, which snapped up the last Region 1-6A at-large slot.
The FHSAA used its ranking formula to allocate at-large berths, four per region per class for 2A through 7A, along with the champions of each district. Seeds are based on the rankings formula.
Classes 2A through 4A open Tuesday, 5A through 7A start Wednesday and 1A kicks off Friday.
