Where is Ohio State women's basketball game streaming? How to watch Ohio State-Michigan

The No. 2 rank "curse" going around women's college basketball this season has failed to have an effect on Ohio State so far.

Before the Buckeyes took over the No. 2 ranking in the AP Polls on Feb. 12, a trend seemed to be going around the NCAA, as every team put in that position would eventually be handed a loss.

While Ohio State has held strong for over two weeks, going 3-0 since being ranked No. 2, that can change with rival Michigan heading into Value City Arena on Wednesday night for the Buckeyes' final home game of the regular season.

In the last meeting between these two Big Ten teams, the Wolverines defeated the Buckeyes 69-60 in Ann Arbor on Dec. 30, for Ohio State's third and most recent loss of the season. Michigan managed to contain Cotie McMahon, who is OSU's second-best scorer and team leader in rebounds, to 5 points and no rebounds.

Currently the only team in the conference to hold a victory over Ohio State, if unranked Michigan manages to pull off another upset it will stunt the Buckeyes' quest to secure the sole Big Ten regular-season title.

How have Ohio State and Michigan done so far this season?

Riding a 14-game winning streak since their loss to Michigan, the Buckeyes have had a much stronger performance in 2024 compared to the 2023 side of the season.

Opening the season with an 83-74 loss to No. 21 Southern California on Nov. 6, Ohio State was able to get back and a few games later, picked up a victory over No. 20 Tennessee on the road on Dec. 3. On Dec. 10, the Buckeyes recorded their first Big Ten win of the season, defeating No. 25 Penn State 94-84 in overtime.

The Buckeyes' first top-10 challenge of the season came in the form of No. 2 UCLA on Dec. 18, where they dropped their second game of the season 77-71. If Ohio State defeats Michigan on Wednesday, the UCLA game will mark the team's only home loss of the regular season.

Falling to Michigan two games later, Ohio State started the 2024 portion of the season with big victories over Northwestern (90-60) and Rutgers (90-55).

The Buckeyes biggest test of the season came into town on Jan. 21, when they played their first of two scheduled games against then-ranked No. 2 Iowa. In front of the largest crowd in program history, 18,660 people watched Ohio State upset the Hawkeyes 100-92 in overtime.

Continuing to build momentum within the Big Ten, just a two weeks later, Ohio State defeated No. 10 Indiana 74-69.

Ohio State currently holds a 15-1 conference record, already securing the No. 1 seed in the Big Ten tournament and at least a shared Big Ten regular season title. The Buckeyes can make it a sole championship if they defeat Michigan on Wednesday. If not, they will head into Carver-Hawkeye Arena on March 3 where Iowa will have a chance to share the title with a victory.

Following Michigan's win over Ohio State, which was the team's first game of Big Ten play this season, the Wolverines have gone 7-8 in conference battles and holds a 17-11 overall record. Most recently defeating Northwestern 74-60 on Feb. 24, Michigan made headlines a few games earlier, being the team Iowa's Caitlin Clark broke the NCAA all-time women's scoring record against on Feb. 15.
