Where each Longhorn lands in NFL’s updated seven-round mock draft

The 2023 NFL Draft is less than a week away.

Texas has five draft prospects that have a great chance of hearing their name called throughout the three-day event. A handful of others, such as defensive backs D’Shawn Jamison and Anthony Cook, could find themselves as priority undrafted free agents as soon as the draft concludes.

Bijan Robinson is not only Texas’ top draft prospect but one of the best overall players in this class. NFL organizations don’t value the running back position in the first round as they did several years ago, but Robinson is a special talent that many believe will be an immediate difference-maker at the next level.

Roschon Johnson, Robinson’s primary backup, is likely to become the second Longhorn drafted next week. Many NFL mock drafts have Johnson projected between the third and fourth round.

Here’s a look at where the five former Longhorns land in NFL’s latest seven-round mock draft.
