West Salem cross country sweeps Central Valley Conference district championships
West Salem girls and boys cross country teams swept the Central Valley Conference district championships Wednesday at Oak Knolls Golf Course.
On the boys side, West Salem’s Jack Meier won the individual title with a time of 15:13.80, and the Titans finished with 32 points.
On the girls side, North Salem’s Nelida Dalgas won the individual title with a time of 18:27.90.
The top West Salem girl was Avery Meier, who was second at 18:36.20. The Titans girls had a district-best 32 points.
Next up is the OSAA Class 6A state championships at Lane Community College on Nov. 4.
