Who were the Shore Conference baseball stars from Week 4 of the 2024 season?

The home stretch of the scholastic baseball season will soon be upon us.

Here are some outstanding performances in the Shore Conference from the period of games from April 22-28.

Zach Hampton (Middletown North): Allowed one run in 12 innings in wins over Middletown South and Monmouth in a Monmouth County Tournament preliminary round game and also had six RBI in a 12-1 win over Manalapan.

Nick Garbooshian (Brick Memorial): Garbooshian had two games where he struck out 11 and allowed a combined seven hits in wins over Toms River North and Central.

Christian Suarez (Wall): Suarez pitched a five-inning no-hitter with five strikeouts and three walks hin the Crimson Knights’ 13-0 win over Rumson-Fair Haven.

Brady Lesiak (Southern): Lesiak fired a seven-inning no-hitter with eight strikeouts and three walks in the Rams’ 6-1 win over Jackson Memorial.

David Marcus (Brick): Marcus had a three-run double in the Green Dragons’ 8-4 win over Toms River North and two homers and four RBI in their 9-8 win over Freehold.

Andrew Barham (Shore): Barham’s two-out, two-run double in the bottom of the seventh gave the Blue Devils a 14-13 win over Red Bank Catholic. It was the

Hunter Morgan (Neptune): Pitched a complete-game six-hitter nd had two hits during Neptune’s 1-0 win over Lacey – its first win of the season.

Danny Lubach (Point Pleasant Beach): Lubach went 2-for-2 with two walks and three RBI in the Garnet Gulls’ 13-3 win over St. Rose and then had a three-run home run in Point Beach’s 10-2 win over Donovan Catholic that enabled it to advance to the Ocean County Tournament semifinal for the first time.

Andrew Gendi (Matawan): Gendi struck out 10, walked one and fired a two-hitter in the Huskies’ 6-0 win over Manasquan.

Jake Marciano (Donovan Catholic): Marciano fanned 16, which matches his career-high set last year in the Ocean County Tournament championship game, and pitched six innings of two-hit ball in the Griffins’ 7-0 win over Barnegat.
