C. Milton Wright girls volleyball

The Mustangs caused chaos in the UCBAC Chesapeake Division race when they swept Patterson Mill right out of sole possession of first place Tuesday. They got 13 kills from Cara Hoover and seven from Cameron Naugle in their 25-23, 25-23, 25-18 win. Ana Mioduski finished with seven aces and Jenna Ritz had 24 assists.

The win put CMW in a three-way tie for first place with Patterson Mill and Fallston, each with two conference losses. CMW beat Patterson Mill twice, Patterson Mill beat Fallston twice and Fallston beat CMW twice.

Honorable mentions

Fallston golf: The Cougars dominated last Tuesday's Harford County tournament. The team total of 495 was 18 strokes better than North Harford.

Bel Air boys volleyball: The Bobcats closed out a 13-0 regular season with a four-set victory over Harford Tech on Wednesday.

Patterson Mill football: The Huskies clinched the UCBAC Susquehanna Division title with a thrilling 30-28 win over Fallston.

C. Milton Wright field hockey: The Mustangs won three games by a combined score of 33-0, beating North East, Elkton and Perry Hall.

Five star performances

Alex Langford, Fallston, golf: Langford shot once of his best rounds of the season, posting a 74 to finish as county co-champion with C. Milton Wright's Jack Geyer.

Dani Korczak, Harford Tech, girls soccer: Korczak took a cross from Laney Weaver and headed it in for the game's only goal Thursday against Havre de Grace.

Vinnie Wysong, Patterson Mill, boys soccer: Wysong had a hand in all five Huskies goals in Friday's 5-1 win over Aberdeen. He scored three and assisted on two.

Kacy Day, Harford Tech, golf: Day dominated the girls field at the Harford County championships. She finished with a 78, the sixth best score overall and best among girls. She was 14 strokes better than second-place finisher, her Harford Tech teammate Olivia O'Connor.

Kyle Frank, C. Milton Wright, football: In Thursday's win over North Harford, Frank rushed 22 times for 104 yards and two touchdowns in the Mustangs' 21-7 win.
