Week 11 NIC-10 football stats: Players closing in on rushing, passing records

Harlem's Jahmani Muhammad, the only sophomore to ever lead the NIC-10 in rushing, finished second this year to East's Javius Catlin. But he is in good position to drop Catlin to No. 2 as a senior, just one year after Catlin set the league's career rushing record. With 2,879 yards in his first two years, Muhammad now stands 10th all-time in the league and needs just 741 yards next year to surpass Catlin's record.

Still on the record hunt this year is Hononegah quarterback Cole Warren, who threw two more TD passes in Saturday's second-round Class 7A playoff rout. He needs one more to tie the NIC-10 single season record with 28. With 51 for his career, he moved up to third all-time, just one behind Boylan's Connor Dennis, who did not have a TD pass last week in the final game of his career.
