Wednesday's Top Prep Performers from basketball, soccer and wrestling

Highlights from Wednesday in high school sports:

BOYS BASKETBALL

  • Marcos Ramirez finished with 25 points and five assists, Nathaniel Gomez had 22 points and 10 rebounds, and David Giron hit four 3-pointers and finished with 15 points to lead Oxnard (12-3) to a 74-66 win over Viewpoint at the Cal Lu Showcase.

  • Isaiah Dillon finished with 16 points, six rebounds and six assists, Richard Miranda had 12 points and three steals, and Steven Pillado had 10 points and three rebounds to lead Pacifica to a 54-45 win over Kennedy-Granada Hills at the Cal Lu Showcase.

  • Ryder Mjoen scored 27 points and Justin Rener followed with 26 points to lead Simi Valley (8-6) to a 61-49 win over Providence at the Cal Lu Showcase.

  • Ethan Klopp scored 16 points, Elai Segev had 12 points and DJ Jacob added 10 points for Agoura in its 54-51 loss to Santa Barbara at the Cal Lu Showcase.

  • Blake Jones scored 20 points, Alex Depatie had 11 points and Aayaan Ahmed had 10 points for Newbury Park (9-4) in its 56-51 loss to Rancho Mirage at the Cal Lu Showcase.

  • Isayah Garcia finished with 15 points, four rebounds and three assists, Troy McGovern had 14 points, four rebounds and two steals, Stevie Amar had 13 points and eight rebounds, Axel Eason contributed 11 points and six rebounds, Nick Giarrusso dished out eight assists, and Brett Johnson had five steals to lead Oaks Christian to a 77-57 victory over Golden Valley in the semifinals of the Faith Baptist Tournament.

  • Dylan Benner scored 33 points of his 38 points in the second half and Donald Clark IV and Mathew Wilson each had eight points as St. Bonaventure erased a 23-point deficit before losing to Judge Memorial of Utah 63-60 on the third day of the Tarkanian Classic in Las Vegas.

  • Rajai Moody scored 21 points, Jevon Bobbsemple finished with 14 points and Joshua Fernandez had 13 points to lead Channel Islands (5-7) to a 63-60 victory over Santa Maria in the Carpinteria Tournament.

  • Jose Valdovinos scored 25 points and JJ De Santiago had nine points for Santa Paula (11-2) in its 51-45 loss to Dos Pueblos in the Carpinteria Tournament.

  • Carter Reid finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds, Mason Stueber had 22 points and seven assists, Dylan Stueber scored 12 points, and Carson Obringer contributed 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead Hillcrest Christian to an 84-61 victory over Compton.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

  • Kierabella Coletta-Todd finished with 21 points and 13 rebounds, Greta Heath had 10 points, four rebounds, four steals and two assists, Skylar Komatsu had 10 points and four rebounds, Kai Mekari contributed seven points, four steals, three rebounds and three assists, and Kimiko Carmer added six points, five rebounds and two steals as Newbury Park (11-1) defeated Foothill Tech 60-30 for its 11th straight win.

  • Aryanna Lopez had 16 points, three assists and two rebounds and Jalynn Rico had 13 points and four rebounds for Santa Paula (9-5) in its 52-37 loss to West Ranch in a nonleague game.

GIRLS SOCCER

  • KK Chowana and Emma Naftzger each netted hat tricks and Layla Simon, Grace Wetzel and Malena Juergens scored goals to lead Westlake (6-0-1) to a 9-0 victory over Royal in a nonleague match at home.

BOYS WRESTLING

  • Buena defeated Pacifica 48-36 in a Channel League match. Jason Ybarra, Gavin Cortez, Robert Ramirez, Aurelio Martinez and Geovany Serrano all won by pin for the Tritons (3-1 in league).

  • John Kuske, Daniel Godinez and Alan Torralba each had pins to lead Rio Mesa to a 54-7 win over Oxnard in a Channel League match.
