WooSox 5, Rochester 2: David Hamilton rapped an RBI triple, Enmanuel Valdez delivered a run-scoring single, and Bobby Dalbec drove in a run, all in the ninth inning, as visiting Worcester (67-54 overall) pulled away from the Red Wings (55-64) to even this week's series at 1-1.

The WooSox (28-18) moved to within a half game of Lehigh Valley (29-18) for the IL East second-half lead. Durham (28-19) is another half game back.

Kyle Barraclough, who remained unbeaten in the Red Sox organization with a no-decision (8-0 WooSox, 9-0 overall), allowed two runs over seven innings and picked off a runner at first base. Nick Robertson (2-1) pitched a hitless eighth inning and picked up the win, with Joe Jacques hurling the ninth for his first save of the season.

Valdez finished 2 for 4 with two RBIs for Worcester, and teammate Yu Chang had three hits.
