Vermont women’s basketball drops final game in Gulf Coast Showcase to Delaware

The University of Vermont women's basketball team is off to Florida.

The Catamounts are competing in the Gulf Coast Showcase tournament in Estero starting on Friday. Vermont has a chance to bolster its nonconference schedule against premier NCAA opponents as last season's runner-up, Iowa, is also in the tournament.

Emma Utterback (15.8 points per game) and Anna Olson (13.3) are leading the Cats early this season.

Check back throughout the weekend on how the Catamounts fared.
