How to watch Texas softball vs. No. 1 Oklahoma in the WCWS on Saturday

Texas kicked off the 2022 Women’s College World Series on the right foot.

The unranked Longhorns faced No. 5 UCLA in the opening game of the World Series on Thursday, impressively defeating the Bruins 7-2. It marked the most runs ever for Texas in a World Series game and broke an eight-game winning streak for UCLA.

Texas will now face No. 1 Oklahoma in the winner’s bracket on Saturday. The Sooners are no doubt the top team in the country and comfortably defeated No. 9 Northwestern on Thursday by a score of 13-2 in five innings.

It’s no secret that the Sooners are known for their powerful bats. Texas will need a near perfect pitching performance, along with keeping their own bats hot, in order to force a major upset.

Oklahoma has an astonishing 55-2 overall record on the year, but one of their two losses was handed to them by Texas back in April. Anything can happen in the postseason.

Here’s how to tune in to Texas’ second game of the Women’s College World Series.
