Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier danced at his wedding Friday night nearly 18 months after he was stretched off the field with a season-ending spinal injury.

In a video posted to Twitter, the 26-year-old and his new wife Michelle are surrounded by guests laughing and dancing during their reception.

Shazier was injured making a tackle in December 2017 in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals. While he won’t be suiting up for this upcoming season, the former Ohio State Buckeye confirmed he would like to play football again.

“I definitely want to play,” Shazier said in January. “I try to tell people at the end of the day, just because I got hurt, doesn’t mean I lost the love of the game of football. I love football so much. I just care about the game.”

Shazier was joined by fellow teammates at the star-studded affair, including linebacker T. J. Watt, running back James Connor, wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and quarterback Josh Dobbs.
