WATCH: Raiders' Darren Waller shows how to smile in face of adversity with 'Unfazed' music video

The Las Vegas Raiders are 0-2, but tight end Darren Waller says he's "Unfazed" in the midst of adversity. The Pro Bowler released a music video for his new song on Tuesday, showing different scenarios of hardship and smiling through each one.

The song builds up to a smooth beat with Waller, who received a three-year, $51 million contract extension earlier this month, rapping about keeping a positive mindset. He shouts out Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp, saying he will take pressure in the same way the Super Bowl champion will.

"I'm really unfazed, said I got hit with a shot, but I barely got grazed," Waller raps in the song's hook as the video bounces between a prison cell, a hospital room and a scene of him sitting with a gun pointed at his head.

Waller also released the single "Demaryius" in March, a tribute to the late Demaryius Thomas who played college football at the same school as Waller, Georgia Tech. Last year, he put out a full-length project called "Delusions of Clarity."

Music has been an essential part of Waller's bounce back into the NFL after being suspended for the 2017 season for violating its substance abuse policy. He entered rehab and then returned to the gridiron, earning a Pro Bowl nod in 2020.

“The music gave me something to look forward to and something to express myself and speak in a positive fashion," he said to ESPN's Andscape. "And that’s where I feel like I got confidence from.”
