Watch: Ohio State rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigba previews Seattle Seahawks throwback jerseys
For the Seattle Seahawks, there is no shortage of familiar faces, but when they opted to release a preview of their 1990s throwback uniforms, they decided on former Ohio State star, Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
The rookie was Seattle’s first-round draft pick even though a hamstring injury kept him off the field for the majority of his junior season. There is no question about his ability though, as his sophomore season saw him catch 95 passes for 1,606 yards and 9 touchdowns.
Hyping up rookies makes sense, even when you have DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett at the position. Smith-Njigba got the honor of being the focus of their social media campaign revealing the old-school look. Check it out for yourself below.
It’s the 90s. It’s now. It’s commemorative. It’s current. The Throwback uniforms are finally here.
