How to watch, key players for Oklahoma Women’s Basketball vs. Grambling

Basketball season is here, and the Oklahoma women’s basketball team is off to a good start once again. The Sooners currently sit at 5-2 with a win over a top 15 team in the Ole Miss Rebels on the road.

But they’ve hit a rough patch after losing two straight games. They now are looking to get back on the right track as they take on the Grambling Tigers on Friday. The Tigers, led by Courtney Simmons, are 3-3 on the season but have a win over the Arizona State Sun Devils.

The Sooners have one of the better scoring offenses in the country, coming in at No. 21. Grambling has one of the worst scoring defenses, ranking No. 314 out of 348 teams.

Let’s take a look at some of the best players for both teams and how you can watch the game.

With the Sooners currently just outside the top 25, this puts them in a great spot to be a tournament team once again. According to ESPN’s bracketology, the Sooners would head to Bloomington, IN, as the No. 7 seed and take on the No. 10 seed UNLV Lady Rebels.

This would be the third straight year the Sooners would make the tournament under Head Coach Jennie Baranczyk. They’ve lost in the second round each of the last two years.
