WATCH: Justin Fields’ sister smacks home run for Georgia softball team in Super Regional

You’ve likely heard that former Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields has a sister that plays softball for the Georgia Bulldogs, but have you really seen her in action” Jaiden Fields is a redshirt sophomore and plays the outfield for the Dawgs.

And no offense to the Big Ten or other northern teams, but the softball down south is just on another level than what you typically see up in the Great Lakes. Not that there aren’t good teams, it’s just the depth up and down teams in the south are better.

Fields and her Bulldog teammates are currently making a run through the NCAA Tournament and she smacked a home run to center field on Friday against the Florida Gators in a Super Regional. The bomb gave her team a 1-0 lead in the third inning.

As you can see, big brother was paying attention to the current situation down in Athens and was quick to react. Take a look at the home run shared to the Georgia Softball Twitter account and Justin’s reaction to it below.

It appears the Fields family has pretty good genes. Going into the game with the Gators, Jaiden was batting .278, with five home runs and a slugging percentage of .474.

As long as we’re not cheering on the Ohio State softball team, we might as well root for the sister of one of the best quarterbacks to ever suit up in scarlet and gray right?
