Watch: John Harbaugh throws out first pitch at Camden Yards with football

The Baltimore Ravens have been making quite a name for themselves on the baseball diamond in 2021. After wide receiver Rashod Bateman and quarterback Lamar Jackson threw out first pitches at Camden Yards before a Baltimore Orioles game, another member of the Ravens organization got to take the mound in Baltimore before a game got underway.

Head Coach John Harbaugh stood front and center before the crowd at Camden Yards as he awaited the green light to throw his first pitch. However, there was a bit of a twist involved, as instead of a baseball, Harbaugh delivered a strike to home plate with a football, something he’s very familiar with.

Orioles manager Brandon Hyde appeared from the dugout to greet Harbaugh before his pitch wearing a Ravens helmet that the head coach had signed for him. After Harbaugh’s delivery to home plate, the Orioles ended up defeating the Washington Nationals 5-4 in thrilling fashion, so it was an all-around great day at the ballpark for a multitude of reasons.
