Watch: Highlights from Brandin Podziemski’s hot start to the season
Brandin Podziemski has been one of the bright spots in an inconsistent start to the season for the Golden State Warriors. The rookie wing has impressed Steve Kerr enough to earn himself a spot in the starting lineup. Podziemski’s performances aren’t the only thing impressive, though. Multiple veteran talents have commented on his eagerness to learn and improve, which has also earned him some respect within the roster.
Still, his on-court production has been ensuring Podziemski remains in the Warriors starting rotation. He’s bringing energy, reliable scoring and ball-handling, and an infectious commitment to crashing the glass on both sides of the floor. In the 25 games he’s played so far, Podziemski is averaging 8.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.1 assists, shooting 46.2% from the field and 40.5% from 3-point range.
