WATCH: Commanders CB Kendall Fuller with a pick-6 vs. Cowboys

If at first you don’t succeed, try again. That’s what Washington Commanders cornerback Kendall Fuller was thinking in the second quarter of a Week 18 game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was looking for wide receiver Michael Gallup when Fuller jumped the route but slipped. Had Fuller been able to corral the pass and keep his feet, it would’ve been an easy interception return for a touchdown.

Surely, Fuller missed his opportunity, right?

On the very next play, Prescott looks to Gallup again, on essentially the same play, and Fuller jumps the route and goes untouched for a 29-yard touchdown.

Check it out:

It’s Fuller’s second interception return for a touchdown this season. Fuller returned one for a score in the Week 11 win over the Houston Texans.

The touchdown gave the Commanders a 13-0 lead before kicker Joey Slye missed the extra point.
