How to watch Buffalo Bills vs Miami Dolphins in Sunday night game to decide AFC East title
ORCHARD PARK - For the first time in Buffalo Bills history, they will be playing a third game in the same season during the NFL’s premier television window, NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
Buffalo originally had two games - home against the Giants in Week 6 and at Cincinnati in Week 9 - but because the showdown in Miami is for the AFC East division title, the NFL put it into this spot when it finalized the Week 18 schedule last Sunday.
Technically, this is the fourth time the Bills are playing in front of the NBC cameras and broadcast crew led by Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth. Two weeks ago they were in a standalone window for a Peacock-only Saturday night game in Los Angeles.

It has been quite a year for the Bills in terms of visibility as this will be their eighth island game meaning it’s the only one being broadcast at that time. This is the seventh prime-time start and they also had the 9:30 a.m. kickoff when they played the Jaguars in London.
This is the most such games in one season in Bills history, surpassing their seven island games in 2022.
“Seems like the media and people are trying to make it seem bigger than what it is, but we’ve been playing in playoff games for the last month it seems like,” said Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins. “Not that this is just another game, I don’t want to dumb it down, but it’s just another important game. Don’t make it more than what it is, leave it where it’s at and just understand that it’s still a game in our season and we have to play for a win.”

OK, that’s all well and good, but it’s a huge game, without question the biggest one in Week 18, and that’s why it’s the last regular-season game on the schedule, slotted into the place where it will draw the highest TV rating.
