WATCH: Boston’s Jayson Tatum talks being the man with Jaylen Brown, muscles, vaccines and more on media day

Boston Celtics All-Star forwards Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are the unambiguous stars of the franchise for the first time ever heading into the 2021-22 NBA season, and Tatum made it clear it’s a status he is not only comfortable with but embraces while speaking at the team’s annual Media Day events.

The St. Louis native spoke on growing into his body, how he feels about the contentious debate on vaccination in the league, his new head coach Ime Udoka and the dynamic the team has had with him, and more while speaking to the press this Monday, Sep. 28.

Watch the video embedded below to hear all he had to say before Boston’s training camp kicks off the following Tuesday, courtesy of our friends over at CLNS Media.

Tatum seems ready to take the helm of the Celtics alongside his fellow star wing Jaylen Brown, and if that doesn’t get your pulse elevated, we aren’t sure why you’ve read this far in the first place.
