Watch: Austin Reaves hits half-court shot to end first half of Game 6

When Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals began, the Los Angeles Lakers made it clear they wanted to put the Golden State Warriors away immediately and advance to the next round of the playoffs.

They jumped out to a 27-10 lead as the Warriors came out cold, and it looked like they were on their way to an easy win.

But Stephen Curry and crew clawed their way back, coming to within four early in the second quarter, but Los Angeles looked to extend its lead to give itself a cushion going into the second half.

Luckily for it, guard Austin Reaves connected on a shot from about 50 feet out just before the horn sounded to end the second period.

At the half, Reaves had 13 points on 4-of-6 shooting plus three assists, while LeBron James led the Lakers in scoring with an efficient 15 points and Anthony Davis had 12 rebounds to give them a 56-46 advantage.
