Watch Auburn's Johni Broome have hilarious interaction with Morgan Freeman vs. Ole Miss

Auburn basketball used a lopsided second half to top Ole Miss on the road Saturday, and big man Johni Broome was a huge reason why. The All-SEC center finished with 15 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and three blocks in 25 minutes.

Toward the end of the game, however, Broome found himself near the sideline. Getting close to the spectators, a couple of fans extended their arms to make sure Broome didn't fall into them. One of those people was actor Morgan Freeman, who was in attendance for his second straight game at SJB Pavilion. Freeman is a native of Charleston, Mississippi, and he's been at Ole Miss athletic events before.

Freeman held onto Broome's jersey for a bit longer than the latter liked. Broome swatted Freeman's hand away before turning around and realizing who it was holding onto him: "I thought it was an Ole Miss fan grabbing my jersey and holding onto me," Broome explained. "So I got the hand off, then saw who it was.

"I'm a big movie guy; I probably watched one of his movies on the plane coming over here. When I realized it was him, I was like, 'Oh, my God. I'm a big fan. I'm so sorry.' He said to just keep playing. I came back over there again and said I'm sorry again. He said, 'You're all good, just keep playing.' Very good guy. Love him."
