WATCH: Alabama WR John Metchie III goes diving for TD vs. Miami

Another year, another top wide receiver prospect coming out of Tuscaloosa.

John Metchie III is the latest blue-chip Alabama pass-catcher, and he’s wasting little time making his presence felt in the Crimson Tide’s season opener against Miami.

Metchie finished off Bama’s first drive Saturday with a 37-yard catch-and-run touchdown, finishing it off with an impressive leap over the pylon for the score.

After putting multiple receivers in the first round in each of the last two NFL drafts, Alabama has another potential first-rounder in Metchie.
