How to watch Alabama vs. San Diego State in the Sweet 16 of NCAA Tournament

The Sweet 16 is officially underway as day one was completed on Thursday night. Now, on Friday, more March Madness is on the docket with four more matchups taking place.

Nate Oats and the Alabama Crimson Tide are set to take on the San Diego State Aztecs Friday afternoon with a chance to play in the Elite 8.

Alabama has won both NCAA Tournament matchups this year by 20+ points but the Aztecs will be a much tougher opponent.

There is a stark contrast between the Crimson Tide and the Aztecs. Alabama is led by a ton of young talent while San Diego State will trot out a veteran lineup of four seniors and one junior.

March always delivers some epic matchups and I don’t expect this one to be any different. Here is everything you need to know to catch all the action between the Tide and the Aztecs!

Although he scored 19 points against Maryland, Brandon Miller has yet to deliver a Brandon Miller performance in the NCAA Tournament. Now that he has had time to recover from his groin injury, Miller could be in for an electric performance against the Aztecs.

San Diego State player to watch: Matt Bradley

Matt Bradley is a seasoned guard for the Aztecs who will be a tough matchup for the Tide. Ensuring Bradley doesn’t get comfortable in the game will be critical for Alabama’s success.

Score prediction

Vasha Hunt-USA TODAY Sports

Alabama 74, San Diego State 64

While I don’t think Alabama will cruise to victory over the Aztecs, I do believe the Crimson Tide is just a little too strong for San Diego State. The Aztecs will do their best to make this a half-court game, but Alabama’s young and fresh legs will prove to be too much for the Aztecs.
