The 2023 Bayou Classic takes place today, Saturday, November 25 as the Southern Jaguars go head-to-head with the Grambling State Tigers at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Live coverage begins at 2:00 PM ET on NBC and Peacock.
Saturday's game marks the 50th annual Bayou Classic. Southern currently holds the all-time series lead with a 25-24 record after defeating Grambling 34-17 in last year's match up. The two schools are currently tied for third place in the SWAC West this season with matching 4-3 conference records (5-5 overall).
Saturday's halftime show will feature a Battle of the Bands, a long-standing and highly anticipated tradition between Southern University and Grambling State.
