Warriors vs. Celtics: Lineups, broadcast info, injury reports for Feb. 2

While it might not be the sort of epic showdown we have seen in seasons past between the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics, the two teams are still almost evenly matched with Boston at 10 wins and 8 losses and Golden State at 11 victories to 9 lost games.

And though both teams would prefer to be doing better in the standings, they’ll have to win this contest to start building the moment they need to start climbing the standings again. The Dubs and the Celtics will be without key players, but don’t let the absences — or the late start time — let you think this is a contest to skip.

Injury reports

The Warriors will take the court with two key players out for the season -- star wing Klay Thompson (ACL) and big man Marquese Chriss (leg) -- with forward Alen Smailagic (knee) out for the contest as well. Three players will also sit for the Celtics, though with a much shorter return in store of the trio than is the case with the Dubs. Rookie guard Payton Pritchard (knee) and wing Romeo Langford (wrist) continue to work their way back to health, white veteran guard Marcus Smart (calf) misses his first of two to three weeks worth of contests.
