The wait is over! Spring high school football schedules for Palm Beach County
Since the season ended in December − or November for everyone but Palm Beach Central − Palm Beach County football teams have been ready to run it back.
Fret no more. It's May, which means the wait is over.
The 2023-24 cycle is finally here.

Spring football games and practice schedules
American Heritage-Delray
New hire Brandon Rooze and the Stallions will be out and about on the practice field Monday through Friday from 3:45 to 6 p.m. until May 24 − the day before the team's trip to Fort Lauderdale for a Thursday spring game at Pine Crest.
Heritage-Delray is also hosting Saturday practices from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. until May 20.
Atlantic
It's time for a first glimpse at how the Eagles are faring through an offseason full of transition.
Last fall's leading wide receiver Kamare Williams is now at Chaminade Madonna and standout corner Tavius Horne, Jr. made the move to Saint Thomas Aquinas. Atlantic also has a new face at head coach after the resignation of former Jamael Stewart.
Practices are open Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. before the team's jamboree appearance at Palm Beach Gardens.
Benjamin
Until graduation day, May 19 − when the Bucs will still have a 3 p.m. session − Benjamin's star-studded group will be on the field Monday through Friday, starting at 5 p.m.
With no official plans for a spring game, the team has a scrimmage set for Saturday, May 20.
Boca Raton
From 3:30 to 6 p.m. , the Bobcats are on the field daily Monday through Friday until Wednesday, May 17. The next day, Boca will load up the bus and head to Wellington for a spring game, set for 6:30 p.m.
If you can't make that, there'll be a scrimmage from 8 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 13.
Boynton Beach
Bobby "Fat" Smith is back for his senior season and fans can get a preview of the 2022 region semifinalist Tigers when hosting their spring jamboree on Thursday, May 18.
Cardinal Newman
Is another deep playoff run is brewing in Crusader territory? Newman will be on the grind for it with daily practice from 3 to 6:15 p.m. until Thursday, May 18, when the region finalist crew will hit the field for a 3:30 p.m. scrimmage.
Dwyer
Coach Al Shipman's Panthers will practice Monday through Friday until May 19. On Saturday, May 20, Blum Stadium will be the host site for a spring jamboree, featuring Dwyer, Martin County, Plantation and Stranahan.
Games will start at 3 p.m. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased via GoFan.
Forest Hill
Head to the Hill on Friday, May 19, for the Falcons' spring game against Class 2M Tampa Catholic, who went 9-2 last fall before falling by one point to Final Four contender Lakewood in region semis. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
Glades Central
See the Raiders for mock games on Thursday, May 11, or Wednesday, May 17.
The spring calendar also has a 'Maroon Vs Gold' game scheduled for Friday, May 12. All practices will take place from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Glades Day
The Gators, who recently joined the Sunshine State Athletic Conference, will host Oasis High School out of Cape Coral on Thursday, May 18.
Inlet Grove
Another season making waves is in store for the Hurricanes, starting with a 'Black and Blue' scrimmage at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 13.
Ahead of the inaugural bus ride of the season to Fort Pierce-Central for a 7:30 p.m. spring game on Friday, May 19, Inlet Grove will be practicing Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m.
John I. Leonard
The Lancers will be on the field Monday through Friday from 3:15 to 5:45 p.m. before taking off Tuesday, May 16, the week of their spring game.
Prepped by a 9 a.m. scrimmage on Saturday, May 13, Leonard will see game action against the Rams on Friday, May 19, for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff at Palm Beach Lakes High.
Jupiter
Jensen Beach is Jupiter’s spring game opponent once again in 2023. The Falcons will travel to Warrior territory on Friday, May 19, for a 6 p.m. start.
Ahead of the rematch, practices for Jupiter will take place Monday through Friday from 3 to 5:30 p.m. and 8 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays.
Jupiter Christian
The Eagles will be in full pads May 8 through May 10 from 4 to 6 p.m. That Saturday, May 13, Jupiter Christian will be suited up once again for a 9 a.m. scrimmage.
King's
Under the new direction of Cardinal Newman former Dan Burack, the Lions can be caught in practice from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. ahead of a jamboree appearance at Royal Palm Beach High on Friday, May 19.
Olympic Heights
A season reaching new heights is in the making down in Boca Raton for the Lions and head coach Brian Pulaski.
Olympic Heights is in practice Monday through Friday from 3:05 to 3:15 p.m. and will participate in the Boynton Beach jamboree on May 18. Kickoff will be at 5:30 p.m.
Oxbridge Academy
A young squad in reboot mode, fielding a team for the first time since the program’s dissolve in 2018, there’s no spring game on the schedule for the ThunderWolves.
However, there will be an intersquad scrimmage on Thursday, May 25, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Pahokee
Back from another trip to region finals − without Florida quarterback commit Austin Simmons, but with a new coach − the Blue Devils will travel to Pembroke Pines to play the Somerset Academy Panthers on Monday, May 15.
Palm Beach Central
Central has a slot reserved for a 6:30 p.m. game against Glades Central at Bronco Stadium on Thursday, May 18.
Until then, the returning Final Four contenders will welcome fans to practices on weekdays from 3:15 to 5:45 p.m. and Saturday, May 6, from 8 to 10 a.m. A team scrimmage is also penciled in for Friday, May 12.
Palm Beach Gardens
Gators coach Tyrone Higgins has quite the jamboree lined up again this year.
Gates open at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, for a day full of football at the low, low cost of $12. Nine teams are set to face off, including Atlantic, as well as Boyd Anderson, Calvary Christian, Coconut Creek, Miami-Edison, Lakewood, Miramar, Miami-Palmetto and Treasure Coast.
Palm Beach Lakes
First-year head coach Turmarian Moreland is introducing the next era of Palm Beach Lakes football. In preparation for the alum's first sideline appearance during spring game against Leonard, the Rams will have practice from 4 to 6 p.m. until Thursday, May 18.
Park Vista
As former coach Brandon Walker gets the football program up and running at Dr. Joaquin Garcia High − which doesn't have a spring game scheduled − remaining Park Vista staffers will be prepping the program with daily practices, starting at 3:15 p.m.
Melbourne High will welcome the Cobras for a Thursday night spring game on May 18.
Royal Palm Beach
In addition to King's Academy, the Wildcats will also welcome Miami Beach High to their May 19 jamboree.
The team will be practicing at "The Beach" daily from 3 to 5:45 p.m.
Saint Andrew's
On Thursday, May 11, Saint Andrew's will host Boca Raton Christian at 6 p.m. for the first spring game in town.
You can catch the Scots in practice from 4 to 6 p.m. every day until May 10.
Saint John Paul II
The Eagles will be heading up north to meet the Eagles of Jupiter Christian for a 6 p.m. spring game on Thursday, May 18.
Santaluces
Hector Clavijo and the Chiefs are back at it again. The new "Santa" will have an intersquad scrimmage on Friday, May 12, and is due to host South Broward for spring game on Thursday, May 18.
Both games will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Seminole Ridge
With the exception of May 12, the Hawks will be in practice Monday through Friday, starting at 3:15 p.m. South Fork will travel to Ridge for some Friday night spring game action on May 19. Kickoff is set for 5:50 p.m. at Al Packer Field.
Somerset Academy-Canyons
Catch the Set's junior varsity squad in a Saturday scrimmage from 5 to 8 p.m. on May 13, or peep highly touted receiver prospects Waden Charles and Denairius Gray in game action when the Cougars host Coral Glades at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 19.
Spanish River
The "River Boyz" are hard at work in practice − which starts at 4:10 p.m., Monday through Friday, for interested spectators − to prep for two Saturday scrimmages before a spring game on May 19.
Suncoast
Joining Olympic Heights, Suncoast will be another one of the trifecta of teams competing in the May 18 jamboree at Boynton Beach High.
Wellington
Before their spring game hosting Boca Raton, the Blue Crew will kick off a "Blue vs. White" intersquad matchup on Saturday, May 13, at 11 a.m.
Starting Monday, May 8, find the Wolverines in practice from 3 to 5:45 p.m.
West Boca Raton
From going 1-9 in 2021 to a 6-4 finish last fall, coach Dylan Potts and the Bulls are keeping the buzz on West Boca with an exciting spring game matchup.
On Friday, May 19, the Class 3M squad will travel to 2022 region finalist Doral Academy for a 6:30 p.m. start.
