Congratulations to Tecumseh's Alli Zajac, this week's Free Press Prep Athlete of the Week.
It's time to vote for the Detroit Free Press Prep Athlete of the Week, presented by the Detroit Area Honda Dealers.
During the 2023-24 MHSAA season, our staff of reporters are scouring the state for the top performances each week, and every week we'll provide you five players for you to vote on.
By Friday morning, we'll publish the player you voted on to be the new Prep Athlete of the Week.
Here are the nominees:
Aizlyn Albanese, Farmington Hills Mercy: The junior scored 35 points as Mercy beat South Lyon East, 67-47.
Anthony Buford, Detroit Douglass: The senior scored 43 points to help Douglass defeat Detroit Crockett, 72-22.
Terrance Hicks, Detroit Pershing: The junior scored 40 points and added eight assists as Pershing defeated Detroit Osborn, 76-46.
Marcus Pettway, Dearborn Heights Robichaud: The senior scored 31 points with six assists and five steals to help Robichaud defeat Dearborn Heights Annapolis, 60-25.
Alli Zajac, Tecumseh: The junior hit 12 of 14 shots for 32 points as Tecumseh defeated Adrian Madison, 62-50.
