VOTE: Who is the South Shore's baseball preseason Player of the Year? (37 choices)
The high school baseball season on the South Shore is just getting underway, weather permitting.
Last year Milton won a second straight Division 2 state championship while Abington made it to the Div. 4 state final, losing to Seekonk. Whitman-Hanson advanced to the Div. 2 semifinals (losing to Milton), and BC High (Div. 1), Bridgewater-Raynham (Div. 1) and Plymouth North (Div. 2) all advanced to their respective quarterfinals.
Graduation claimed many of the 2023 stars, but there are still plenty of standout players ready to patrol the diamond this spring.
So, cast your vote for our Preseason Player of the Year. From ace pitchers to slick-fielding shortstops to slugging cleanup hitters there's no shortage of strong candidates. Here are 37 to choose from.
