See who was voted the top Texas football alumni in the NFL in our Statesman bracket

The Super Bowl is right around the corner, and there'll be a distinct lack of burnt orange representation in it besides 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan, who spent three years as a wide receiver in Austin.

Chiefs defensive lineman Charles Omenihu would've been the lone player, but a torn ACL from the AFC Championship game has him out for the rest of the year. Regardless, they extended Texas’ streak of alumni reaching the Super Bowl to 19 straight seasons.

Texas running back Bijan Robinson (5) steps around a tackle from Alabama defensive back DeMarcco Hellams (2) during second half of the Longhorns game against the Alabama Crimson Tide at Royal-Memorial Stadium in Austin on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022. Alabama won the game 20-19 with a late field goal.

That being said, there are plenty of other alumni in the NFL who'll have a chance to make it next year, with more soon to join in the upcoming draft. They all brought something unique to the 40 acres and have proven talented enough to stick around in professional football.

It's time to pick a favorite child, though. And in the end, it came down to the two: Ravens kicker Justin Tucker and Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker.

In the end Tucker, arguably the greatest kicker of all time, has been chosen as the Longhorns fans' current favorite.
