Anna Kemp, Charlevoix basketball
Kemp was on a roll last week for the Charlevoix girls, particularly defensively. She had 7 steals in a win over TC St. Francis, then added 18 points and 10 steals against Boyne City, another victory.
Chase Lafaive, Petoskey hockey
It was a week of being in a groove for Lafaive with the PHS hockey team, as a 3-0 week for the Northmen came behind 5 goals and 3 assists for the Harbor Springs sophomore.
Jimmy Marshall, Petoskey basketball
Marshall has been Mr. Consistent for the Northmen this season and he was last week, helping the team to two BNC wins with 20 points and 9 rebounds vs. Alpena and 26 points, 5 assists, 4 steals and 4 rebounds vs. TC Central.
Sophie Barnadyn, Harbor Springs basketball
Only a sophomore, Barnadyn is finding her stride with the Rams and showed it last week with 15 points in a win over Grayling and 7 points in a key win over Elk Rapids.
Christian Silveus, Alanson basketball
It was a big Friday night for Alanson, as the Vikings earned a 94-point win over Alba behind 27 points, 6 rebounds and 6 steals from Silveus, who also earned his 1,000th career point in the victory.
Vivian Hartman, Petoskey hockey
Hartman scored her first-ever varsity goal in a win over the Lakeshore Badgers Friday night, then also added an assist to cap a strong 3-0 week for the Northmen.
