Vote for Mississippi girls high school athlete of the week Jan. 29-Feb. 3

There were several top performers across the state in girls high school sports, but only one can be voted athlete of the week for Jan. 29-Feb. 3.

Nominations

Emma Barnett, Alcorn Central: Barnett recorded 23 points and six rebounds in Alcorn Central's 71-40 win over Ripley.

Mariona Boyd, Morton: Boyd recorded 17 points, three steals and two rebounds in Morton's 46-32 win over Mendenhall.

Sa'niyah Cook, Booneville: Cook recorded 15 points and 11 rebounds in Booneville's 59-56 win over Belmont.

Reese Moore, Tishomingo County: Moore recorded 24 points, seven rebounds and five steals in Tishomingo County's 55-34 win over Biggersville.

Kylianna Spivey, Nanih Waiya: Spivey recorded 13 points and 13 rebounds in Nanih Waiya's 54-40 win over Ethel.

Kiarra Thompson, Quitman: Thompson produced 12 points, 10 rebounds, four blocks and four assists in Quitman's 50-33 win over Forest.

Kyli Truss, Neshoba Central: Truss recorded 18 points, nine steals and five rebounds in Neshoba Central's 67-16 win over Columbus.
