Lamesa's Zoey Sifuentes voted Lubbock A-J fans' choice softball midseason MVP

Lamesa shortstop Zoey Sifuentes was voted as the Lubbock A-J's fans' choice midseason MVP. The junior was also voted as the preseason player of the year in February.

Sifuentes received 32.5% of the vote this time, topping a list of 15 nominees.

Top five vote-getters

1. Zoey Sifuentes, Lamesa — 69,695 votes (32.5%)

2. Whitlee Blacklock, Lubbock Christian — 59,132 (27.6%)

3. Breigh Gregory, Sundown — 52,413 (24.5%)

4. Mandy Martinez, Brownfield — 8,165 (3.8%)

5. Saydi Mendez, Levelland — 4,387 (2.1%)
