The results are in.

Ridgeview senior T'Vario Willis is the Florida Times-Union's latest First Florida Credit Union Athlete of the Week for the 2023-24 high school sports season, covering the week of Feb. 26-March 2 in the Jacksonville area.

Competing for the Panthers' boys track and field squad, Willis cleared 6 feet, 4 inches to win the high jump at the Bolles Bulldog Classic. Fewer than 24 hours later, he also won the Craig Speziale Memorial with a personal-best 6 feet, 7 1/4 inches.

Those marks place Willis No. 2 in Florida for the high jump, as well as inside the national top 20 on the MileSplit high school rankings.

He placed first in a vote of top Northeast Florida performers that included Clare Coyle (Bishop Kenny girls basketball), Cheyenne Cruce (Middleburg girls wrestling), Jenny Dearie (Ponte Vedra girls soccer), Enzo Gamba (Fernandina Beach boys wrestling), C.J. Hall (Hilliard boys basketball), Riya Kar (Bolles girls tennis), Kyra Jackson (Ed White flag football), Brittney Jennings (Creekside girls track), Leann McCready (Menendez softball), Keegan Miller (Tocoi Creek boys tennis) and Merrick Rapoza (Clay baseball).

It's time to vote for Florida Times-Union's next First Florida Credit Union Athlete of the Week for the week of March 4-9, 2024.

The Times-Union gathers nominees from scores, stats and nominations e-mailed to the sports desk during the week by coaches across Northeast Florida. Coaches can e-mail these stats and scores to preps@jacksonville.com.

This week's voting begins Monday morning and closes at 10 a.m. Thursday. Votes are restricted to once per device per hour. Vote at jacksonville.com/sports.

Here are the nominees from March 4-9.

Natalie Charyak, Creekside girls lacrosse

The senior recorded 16 goals, two assists, four ground balls and four turnovers caused during the Knights' wins against Gainesville Buchholz and Tocoi Creek.

Devin Collins, Oakleaf boys track

The junior surpassed 24 feet to win the long jump at the Clay County meet, and also won the 100-meter dash.

Reef Davis, Fletcher boys tennis

The junior won his No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles matches against Wolfson to help the Senators extend their unbeaten record.

London Jenkins, Fleming Island flag football

The senior scored all four touchdowns with two receptions, a rush and a 62-yard interception return to lead the Golden Eagles past Paxon 28-12 in a battle of unbeatens.

Jordan Martinez, Trinity Christian baseball

The sophomore batted .667 for the week with a triple, two home runs and five RBI, helping the Conquerors defeat Lowndes and Wolfson.

Kendall North, Baldwin softball

The junior infielder batted .833 for the week with two doubles, two home runs, five runs scored and five RBI in victories against Middleburg and Bradford.

Bryce Potak, Menendez boys weightlifting

The freshman won the St. Johns County championships for the 119-pound class in both the traditional (260) and Olympic (235) divisions.

Maya Richards, Ponte Vedra girls basketball

The senior recorded 14 points and three steals in the Sharks' Class 6A state semifinal against Valrico Bloomingdale.

Kyla Skinner, Mandarin girls track

The sophomore won the 400-meter run (55.13) and the 200 (24.73) while placing third in the 100 at the North Florida-South Florida Challenge in Flagler County, setting personal-best times in all three events.

Adriah Tongkhuya, Tocoi Creek girls tennis

The sophomore won her matches at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles to lead the Toros in victories over Creekside and Beachside.
