Vols’ series sweeps by the numbers each year under Tony Vitello
No. 5 Tennessee (19-1, 3-0 SEC) concluded its first Southeastern Conference series of the 2022 season March 20.
The series sweep is Tennessee’s fourth during the 2022 season. Tennessee has recorded 16 weekend series sweeps, not including tournaments, under fifth-year head coach Tony Vitello.
Tennessee will next play Butler on Tuesday at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. First pitch is slated for 6:30 p.m. EDT.
The Vols will play a three-game series at No. 2 Ole Miss March 25-27.
