Viewership numbers for every Michigan State football game this year

The Michigan State football season is officially completed with the Spartans failing to reach a bowl game this year.

With the season completed, let’s take a look back at the viewership numbers for each Spartans game this fall and which ones ranked as the most watched games of the year.

This was the No. 11 highest watched game in Week 1 of the season.

Akron (Sept. 10)

Viewers: 1.47 million

This was tied for the No. 12 highest watched game in Week 2 of the season.

Washington (Sept. 17)

Viewers: 2.79 million

This was the No. 8 highest watched game in Week 3 of the season.

Minnesota (Sept. 24)

Viewers: 1.11 million

This was the No. 14 highest watched game in Week 4 of the season.

Maryland (Oct. 1)

Viewers: 904 thousand

This was the No. 18 highest watched game in Week 5 of the season.

Ohio State (Oct. 8)

Viewers: 4.44 million

This was the No. 2 highest watched game in Week 6 of the season.

Wisconsin (Oct. 15)

Viewers: 2.45 million

This was the No. 6 highest watched game in Week 7 of the season.

Michigan (Oct. 29)

Viewers: 5.58 million

This was the No. 3 highest watched game in Week 9 of the season.

Illinois (Nov. 5)

Viewers: 928 thousand

This was the No. 16 highest watched game in Week 10 of the season.

Rutgers (No. 12)

Viewers: 591 thousand

This was the No. 19 highest watched game in Week 11 of the season.

Indiana (Nov. 19)

Viewers: 369 thousand

This was the No. 23 highest watched game in Week 12 of the season.
